City of East Lansing issued the following announcement on Sept 2.
City of East Lansing offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day.
The following offices/buildings will be closed: East Lansing City Hall, the East Lansing 54B District Court, the East Lansing Public Library, the East Lansing Hannah Community Center (ELHCC), East Lansing Prime Time and the East Lansing Department of Public Works.
In addition to being closed Monday, ELHCC will be closed Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Sept. 5. The ELHCC will also have adjusted hours on Friday, Sept. 3 from 6 a.m.-5 p.m.
There will be no bulk item or yard waste collection on Monday, Sept. 6. The next yard waste and bulk item collection day will be the following Monday, which is Monday, Sept. 13.
