Oakland Community College employee Pamela Jannetta donates $54 to Bernard Sanders' campaign

Pamela Jannetta, an employee at Oakland Community College, donated $54 to Democratic Party candidate Bernard Sanders, according to the Federal Election Commission.

According to records, there have been $3,733 in campaign contributions made by individuals affiliated with Oakland Community College as of November 3. All of these contributions were made to Democratic Party candidates and committees.

Janet Montgomery's contribution of $1,000 to Democratic Party Gary Peters was the largest contribution made by someone affiliated with Oakland Community College since January 1, 2019.

According to an Inside Higher Ed analysis of federal elections data, individuals that were affiliated with colleges and universities have donated five times more money to Joe Biden than to President Trump. A study by Pew Research in 2017 found that 58 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought colleges and universities have a negative impact on the way things are going in this country.
