16 weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.s reported on Michigan State University campus in 2017

There were 16 on-campus weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.s in 2017 on the campus of Michigan State University, located in East Lansing, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2016, there were 24 weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.s on the campus; and in 2015, there were 23 weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.s. Overall, in the three year period from 2015 through 2017, 31 percent of on-campus weapons: carrying, possessing, etc.s happened in residence halls. The following table shows how many of these on-campus criminal offenses were committed in residence halls:
