City Of Lansing Public Service ssued the following announcement on July 20.
As previously announced, the City of Lansing income tax filing deadline has changed to July 31, 2020, to align with the IRS and state of Michigan filing deadlines.
Payments can be made the following ways:
ONLINE through the Treasury’s Point and Pay system. You MUST have your file number OR taxpayer’s full name, last four digits of the taxpayer’s social security number and contact phone number.
MAIL to PO Box 40752, Lansing, Michigan, 48901.
DROP OFF at the Treasury and Income Tax drop box located on the Capitol Avenue side of City Hall – 124 W. Michigan Avenue. There is a large sign near the drop box that says “deposit”.
BY PHONE at 1-855-474-4076, you will need your file number or last four digits of your social security number. If assistance is required to complete the process, call the Point and Pay Customer Service department at 1-888-891-6064.
