City of Lansing issued the following announcement on June 21.
If available, use means within your own home to stay cool during hot temperatures! For example, try keeping your blinds and curtains closed to combat the heat that is generated outside.
If you can't stay cool at home, try heading to a restaurant, taking a bus, or visiting a store.
