Thomas M. Barrett's campaign pays $70 to St. Johns Mint Festival

The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Thomas M. Barrett, Friends of Tom Barrett, paid $70 to St. Johns Mint Festival on July 24.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'parade fee'.

The committee has spent about $14,542 total since the beginning of the year, 0.5 percent of which has gone to St. Johns Mint Festival.
