Update: The limits of this closure are being extended due to required additional work and will now be closed as follows:
The City of Lansing Public Service Department announces that starting on Thursday, December 14, 2023, the Shiawassee Street closure will be extended and will now be closed between Capitol Avenue and Grand Avenue west for additional utility work.
Detours will be provided.

The closure is expected to last until approximately Monday, December 18, 2023.
